Then there is the consideration as to the type of walkways you want going around your house.

As with all other things in your landscaping, when trying to decide on the type of decorative path you want there are lots of options. There is always the option of using pavers for your walkway. You might also want to consider something very permanent and choose to use concrete. The easiest walkway to create though is one made of Cotswald Buff Chippings or another type of decorative stone.

There are many different colors and sizes of decorative rock. Every color of the rocks represents a different mineral. As an example, the Cotswald Buff Chippings are made of limestone and that is how they get their buff color tone. You can also purchase decorative rock that comes in red. There are also stones that come in bright white and others that are in a more expected gray color. The rocks are all different types. Lava rock is usually what you have when you are looking at red decorative rock. Granite and limestone tend to be what the white stones are made of. River rock is often what the gray rocks are.

After you have determined the color and type of decorative rock you think you want to use, the next decision is the size of the rock you want to use. There are lots of sizes to choose from, chippings for example are small chips of the larger rocks. If you decided to go with a lava rock for instance they tend to be a little larger in size and really aren’t ideal for a walkway. Larger rocks are much better to use on a flower bed or as a ground cover and alternative to decorative bark. The same can be said for the white rock that is made of granite or limestone, it’s just too big for a proper walkway. A good alternative for walkways though is river rock which can come in all sorts of sizes.

Want to find out more about Block Paving, then visit Paving and Gravel’s site on how to choose the best Cheap Gravel for your needs.

[3
3170
post-1044","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-fruit-container-gardening","tag-fruit-container-gardening
["GET
