The Fun Of Owning A Ride On Lawnmower

When a lot of us think of fun things to do we might not think of a ride on lawnmower right? We might think of watching movies or hanging out with friends, going to the beach or racing go karts, but having fun with the lawnmower might just happen to slip our minds from time to time. You see so many excited people with their mowers all painted the colours that they want, all complete with accessories for the ladies and racing stripes for the males. Now if you are thinking that it is a tad dangerous, well that just is not the case at all. When a mower becomes a racing mower and has no other purpose the blades are taken out of the machine for safety purposes. Also if you race them on concrete, well that could hinder your chances of winning right?

It does sound a little silly but that is only because you have never tried it before. Think of when you go kart with your friends and family, although the cars do not go that fast it is still lots of fun. The same thing happens when you race a mower; it is all about strategy and how you can take out your opponent in a clean and fashionable way. You have to be great at turning those corners and intercepting the next move of everyone out there on the race track with you; which might be your backyard but still, it’s fun. There really is no harm in using an old mower and giving it another lease on life, because once its grass cutting days are over, well things can get a little depressing for the old machines.

The great thing about racing your old mower is that if you have to use it for racing then you can probably get away with buying a new one. It’s only fair really, and once your partner sees that the lawns are not getting mowed then they will probably beg you to go out and get a new one. See, there always is an agenda when it comes to machinery.

Since a ride on lawnmower does such a great job with cutting the grass and making the property look amazing, and then it will probably be a lot of fun to race around the neighbourhood with. Who knows, you might end up winning the annual derby (if there is such a thing) and come away with a brand new lawnmower; it truly is a win-win situation
