Pleased With My Purchase – Stihl Lawn Edger Review

I find I spend 1/2 the time with this edger doing the same work. I actually do more work now in less time since I use it for trenching the flower-bed lines now. The handle is cheap molded plastic that is held on to the metal (amazing there is a metal part on this) shaft by a screw. Not a bolt, not a sturdier arrangement that can be tightened.

Some of these tips help me get done faster with the job. Keep the power cord over your shoulder so it doesn’t fall out all the time.

A little difficult to use if you’ve never used one before, but relatively easy to use once you get the hang of it. Produces a professional edging for sidewalks and driveways. I would not recommend an electric edge if you have a large corner lot, because the cord can be a hassle. Over all it does a great job. I even tried switching to trenching mode and that was even worse. I have given this model 2 seasons worth of second chances and I am done. Lightweight monster with plenty of power. A breeze to clean.

I used full depth and the machine performed flawlessly. I bought an extra blade with my original purchase and it is still in the package it came in.

It’s a slight safety concern because if the user momentarily stops to adjust the extension cord it could tip over as they are re-grasping the trigger to start again. All things considered, I love this edger and would definitely buy it again. If the grass is very wet, mud cakes on the wheels and undercarriage and has to be cleaned. I live in a typical suburban subdivision with an HOA agreement.

Worked like a charm. Someone already mentioned NOT using this when the ground is really wet. This product was great. We moved into our house a little over a year ago and I knew we were going to need an edger at one point in time. I highly recommend it. And my property looks wonderful. One thing that’s nice is the adjustable depth but don’t count on it being accurate. As soon as the blade wears some, it’s worthless for that.

Not a bolt, not a sturdier arrangement that can be tightened. WINDSCREEN CHIP REPAIR.
