The Honda FG 315 Cultivator – For Vegetable Growing, Mid-Sized Gardens And Allotments
Experienced vegetable growers will love the Honda FG315 mid-size cultivator. There’s no doubt that the FG315 has greater capabilities than a mini tiller, which will be appreciated by those who grow at home or in an allotment. For working a small garden or plot you might find that the FG 201 is a better option, being smaller and somewhat lighter.
However the tough 160 cc 4∙5 hp OHC motor and useful working width of 800mm means that the FG315 can cope with anything that a mid-size garden plot or allotment demands. The tasks of preparing fresh ground, pre-winter digging or turning over green manure for example can be daunting. For some they become so difficult that they have to give up the pleasures of home-grown produce altogether. If you have a machine such as the Honda FG 315 you will not have to worry about that at all.
The adjustable Y-shaped handle can be set at a height that suits you, and folds up for storage. It will also swing to the side which means that you don’t have to walk over the ground you have just turned over. There are forward and reverse gears which give you great flexibility.
In the photo you will notice that the FG 315 has a front wheel – this is vital on a mid-size tiller weighing 46 kg. Crop-protection discs are supplied – these enable you to work along paths, fences and crops without damage. A deadmans handle is a great safety feature which stops the blades if you accidentally lose grip on the controls.
The machine is covered by Honda’s full 5 year warranty which is testament to their confidence in their products.
