The Japanese Maple Bonsai tree, scientifically called Acer Palmatum, also comes by the name Japanese Mountain Maple. This maple variety comes in a few different types, and all sorts are ideal specimens for Bonsai species.

The Nishiki Gawa, Nishiki Sho, Nishiki Issai, and Ara Kawa are just a few examples of the sorts of Japanese Maple that age really quickly. Some sorts of this variety also feature extraordinarily weird barks,eg the Aoyji and the Sanku.
